Utilisation of
Donations and Grants (2010-11)

Your generosity ensures valuable services that help sick, injured and abused animals. Alone we can accomplish little but together, we can make the world an animal friendly place. We invite you to our shelter to see the work we do and find out more about where your money goes. Between 800 to 900 animals are housed here at any given time and tours of the shelter are conducted on request. Please call during working hours and make your request.

All donations are entitled to exemption under section 80G of the Income Tax Act. We are registered under the FCRA and will guide you with the procedure to make a foreign donation. Please make cheques/DDs payable to "Blue Cross of Hyderabad". Wire transfer details are also available on request.

Animal Rescue ambulance for sick and injured animals from the street:
Donate Rs.1000 per month.

Sterilisation and vaccination of street dogs in your area:
Rs.610 per dog.

Adoption of homeless animals:
Donate Rs.350 to take care of vaccination of one homeless animals against canine or feline diseases.

Annadaan Scheme :
Donate Rupees 5000 per year for feeding the animals on your birthday or wedding anniversary. If 365 kind people join this scheme, the entire year will be covered. Some celebrities who are part of this scheme are Nagarjuna, Amala , Naga Chaitanya and John Abraham. 35 other animal lovers are in this scheme. You can join too!
Alternately you may choose to donate a bag of pet food every month (Rs.1000) to feed shelter animals.
Be a Blue Cross Patron: donate Rupees 25,000 annually or more. This amount will go towards medicines, food and salaries. Or it can take care of one vaccination camp at a slum area of the city, or to sponsor a health camp for working animals at Ghas Mandi, old city.

Donate towards Construction:
This year we plan to build a new surgery block, an injured monkey facility, improve our cat and rabbit housing. General repairs and maintenance of our animal shelter also costs money. Your donations will help achieve better facilities for the animals.

Golden Fund for Animal Welfare:
Donate rupees 500 per month.
